About
I am a Computer Science Ph.D. student and research assistant in the School of Computing at the University of Utah where I am glad to be advised by Prof. Saday Sadayappan. I have been an AI Scientist co-op and intern at Ancestry in 2025 and 2024. I graduated from Colorado State University (CSU) with a M.S. in Computer Science in 2022, where my thesis was centered around efficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP). I received my B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, during which I also did an startup internship working on NLP tools for the Persian language. After my undergraduate studies, I was at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for one year as a graduate student, where I also taught the undergraduate Computer Science II course on Advanced Programming (C++).
I am interested in High-Performance and Efficient Artificial Intelligence. Topics in system and compiler optimizations for AI, and distributed training/inference intrigue me.
